Nick Wilson created Death of Self in late 2006 by combining his influences which include Aggro, EBM, IDM, Tribal, and Metal. In 2007 Death of Self released the EP titled “Mind Fuck” containing four experimental songs. After finalizing the sound of Death of Self Nick began work on a full length album, and after many obstacles the full length CD titled “Atrophy” was released. Atrophy includes the first four experimental songs (which have been reworked and mastered) and 7 new brain melting songs including remixes by Assemblage 23 and NOISUF-X.
