Ron Kischuk is a Detroit born trombonist. He is a Yamaha clinician and performing artist, and has released six CDs with his own groups. Two are with The masters Of Music Big Band, three with the Tartarsauce Traditional Jazz Band, and one with fellow trombonist Ed Gooch in a live concert Tribute to J.J. Johnson and Kai Winding. Ron has performed and/or recorded with Aretha Franklin, The Four Tops, Dizzy Gillespie, Terrance Blanchard, Max Roach, Freddie Hubbard, Branford Marsalis and many more. Ron is the lead trombonist in the movie and on the Grammy winning soundtrack to Standing In The Shadows of Motwown. He is adjunct professor of both classical and jazz trombone at Wayne State University in Detroit, and owns and operates the premier teaching facility in Detroit, The Masters Of Music Conservatory.
